I find joy in bringing creative visions to life through thoughtful design and intention.
I am a multidisciplinary creative professional with more than 16 years of experience across graphic design, photography, marketing, communications, and creative direction.
My creative foundation began with extensive study toward a BFA in Graphic Design at Radford University and Emory & Henry College before I earned my BA in Mass Communications with a minor in English from Shenandoah University in 2014.
I established my creative practice, AK Design, in 2010 and founded the pro-bono Type4Me Project in 2015.
My life journey has been a nomadic path. Since moving to the Winchester area in 2013, I have continued developing my craft through professional work, independent projects, photography, and an enduring curiosity for visual storytelling.
This portfolio is a collection of that creative journey, bringing together work shaped by thoughtful problem-solving, careful observation, and my belief that meaningful design can often be found in the smallest details.
